SimConnect.msi nowhere to be found.

Post by Pedemeyer »

Hello:)

I have a problem with Chaseplane that keeps saying it cant find SimConnect.msi in my P3D folder.
But I cant find it and a search wont find any either..?

I have reinstalled the SDK several times (as wells as Chaseplane) but its the same every time..
It says I most locate the Simconnect.msi and install it.
As far as I can tell, that means installing the SDK, but I did that many times now.
So anybody who knows anything about this?
The internet doesn´t!

Best regards and hope for help.

You need to install a legacy version of SimConnect... as Chaseplane doesn't know how to connnect to a more current version of SimConnect. I recommend installing the version located here: [whereyouinstalledprepar3d]\redist\Interface\FSX-SP2-XPACK
