[RESOLVED] PMDG 747 + Simconnect = CTD in P3D 3.4

Post by qqwertz »

Hi,

for the past week or so I am trying to solve, with the help of PMDG support, a major problem: I have a fresh installation of P3D 3.4. When I try to start a flight with the new PMDG 747 I get a runtime error message and a CTD. Furthermore, when Simconnect is not installed, I can start a flight but of course many features are not working. This problem is restricted to this single plane. All other planes (default and payware such as Aerosoft A320 and Majestic Dash 8) are working fine, although I do not have any other planes from PMDG to test.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Thanks,
Peter

I forgot to mention that the 747 was working fine in my previous installation: also P3D 3.4, but client only updates since 3.0.

The problem is resolved, but it required a full reinstallation of Windows 10. Going back to legacy versions of P3D was not sufficient.
