XML Gauge - Slide / Rotate objects display issues

Postby peterk41 » Tue Sep 10, 2019 4:15 pm

Good afternoon

My system:
- Prepar3D v4 SDK 4.5.12.30293
- Windows 10 Pro, Build 17763.rs5_release.180914-1434, Default language German, Swiss keyboard
- Lenovo X1 Extreme, all updates done, latest BIOS installed, with nVidia 1050
- Switched off/on all addons
- Deleted program generated files

I'm design new attitude indicator in XML. So far everything runs smoth except the slider image seems to be cut in 2 halfs not fitting propperly:

With best regards
Peter

Good afternoon

We found out that the XML lines
<Rotate>
<Value>(A:Attitude indicator bank degrees, Radians)</Value>
</Rotate>
causes the wrong picture. <Shift> section does run OK.

Nobody else on this topic ?
Best regards
Peter

Good Morning

We have same issue with another gauge, a gyrocompass: Howver the picture shift is horizontal in this gauge, moving from bottom to the top of the rotated picture.
Picture sizes:

Background 374 x 374 pixel (inside RGB color (0,0,0)
Mask 256 x 256 pixel (inside RGB color 1,1,1)
Rotated 256 x 256 pixel (invisible part RGB color 0,0,0)

We tried to switch between Intel 630 graphics card of the processor to nVidia 1050Ti with MaxQ design. Newest drivers on board. Further no chnage between windowed or full screen P3D mode.
Gauges with needles (rotated) or levers (shifted) we built dont show this behaviour.

If we shall supply details to someone of LM we are pleased to do so.
Best regards
Peter
