I'm attempting to convert my aircraft models to PBR but I use Gmax so I have a couple of questions .
1) Is it even possible to get PBR materials on a model if it's exported whilst using the old FSX material editor ?
Although I have created albedo/ metallic/ normal files which look great in Materialize preview, the sim(P3d4.4) is just treating them as diff/ spec/ bump (and if I rename them as the default F16 textures they work)
so how do I get the sim to recognise the PBR format ? .
2) Can the SDK's 3ds Max material editor with the PBR settings be adapted for use in Gmax ?
