BUG: object icon overlays not visible when HDR off

Reproducing the error is simple. Just in simdirector mode go into the settings menu and turn off the HDR. Icons lost regardless of switch position in menu SD. If HDR turn On - icons will reappear.

Do the icons reappear after waiting several seconds? Do you see this happen when turning HDR off in core Prepar3D and then switching to SimDirector?

This has nothing to do with waiting time. When disable HDR in menu Lightning, you can wait at least an eternity - icons do not appear. As soon as you turn it on - everything becomes visible.
This has nothing to do with the method of launching a simdirector - from the simulator, or directly from command line.

Rob, there will not be such a problem in core Prepar3D, because there are no specific SD icons! This is observed in a fully stock sim. Why do I need debugging? If you can not reproduce the error - write, then I'll start looking for a problem in my hardware. It very simple - run simdirector, in jptions HDR OFF - and icon on aircraft ownship not visible.

We're still unable to reproduce the issue. Can you post a screenshot of the entire SimDirector UI screen? Are you still seeing bounding boxes around objects? Also if you toggle icons on and off using the top menu do they reappear?

I have had this same error, I hadn't thought it was linked to graphic settings but didnt give it much thought but I do flip between my default graphic settings regularly. I will try it on my low setting without FXAA and HDR enabled and if I replicate the error myself I'll send over the SD file.
