FSX had a problem with fences disappearing when viewed from certain angles. A lot of this went away with P3dv2. I just did a redo of YLZI placing the runway much closer to the "mountain" so it matches what is on Google Earth and find I have the disappearing fence problem. Whether a fence is visible seems to be based on what is immediately behind it in the current view. If the terrain rises rapidly the fence vanishes. If the terrain is flat the fence is visible. The transition from visible to invisible can be made on the transition point by a tiny shift in the view to the left or right such as by slewing the plane heading by a few degrees.
I have placed flattens on the airport including the fence area. I have verified the problem exists with no add on scenery other than mine. I have tried this with multiple fence types.
Anyone else seen this?
