[RESOLVED] GeoTIFF: Tiled images are not supported

Hi All,

i'm in need of some assistance as I can't figure this one out.

I am trying to resample an image and get an error saying Tiled images are not supported. Screenshot below:

I am using a Tif image and it is available via the below link along with the resample file.

I have flattened the image as it has transparency but that did not work either so open to ideas.

the 'tiled' geotiff format isn't supported. In both ArcGIS and Global Mapper there are options to turn on / off tiled geotiff support. Those are the 2 tools I use the most when dealing with imagery and this issue.

Does this mean that I need to put the images through, for example, Global Mapper, and export as non tiled? I'm not sure if this is a setting when exporting but it does sound like I need to put these images through GMapper and export out again to make them compatible.

Hello everybody!

Today I also fell over this problem...
I also use ArcGIS (and mainly ArcPy), and in the environment settings I also find the tile size option.
But... I cannot deactivate it.

Maybe you could give me a hint, where I can find this option do deactivate the "tiled" geotiff format... Ideally, how to disable this from ArcPy...

In the meanwhile I found the option in ArcMap:
Customize -> ArcMap Options -> Raster -> uncheck Create Tiled TIFF

Now it's working for me!
