Crosswind runway

In an airport with a control tower with 2 runways at right angles (one long, one shorter but long enough for the aircraft) both with ILSes, P3d picks the longer runway. Is there some way of getting it to use the shorter runway if the winds are strongly down the shorter runway and significantly cross wind on the longer one? I have both runways set up as allowing takeoffs and landings in both directions.

You need to activate the crosswind runway. To do this is a process but once you get the hang of it it's really very simple. GREAT tutorial on how to do it at FSDEVELOPER.com

Yours is a very simple one. Mine, is a very very complex one....thus, my airport got featured in the COMPLEX solution tutorial. :) This is quite old but still the ONLY way to get it to work.
