LOD Radius around aircraft at cruising altitude

Postby Deltaaair123@1 » Mon Apr 30, 2018 9:27 pm

At altitude, I noticed I can see the “blocks” where the detailed scenery ends and the blurry scenery beyond that begins. Is this normal? I have my detail radius set to very high in the sim. I can’t post a picture here but I do have one if you guys want if so you can see exactly what I mean...

You may run into these cases depending on your settings as well as hardware. The LOD radius in v4 is much larger than in v3 and as a result more demanding. You may need to further tune settings or drop the LOD radius slightly to eliminate this.

Wait dropping the Radius would only complicate the issue... I can see where it ends because it’s too small. Would it be possible to send you guys an email with a pic so you can see what I am talking about?
