Gemini FreeAirMap client issue

Is anyone here familiar with the FreeAirMap app and had set it up in a client server configuration. I can't seem to get the client to talk to the server from a non-p3d PC. I followed their installation instructions to a T. I looked on their website and didn't see any information about fixing issues. I have an inquiry into their support staff but haven't heard anything back yet. So I'm making this post just in case someone has set this up before. Thanks!
