Minimize CPU load during flight?

Minimize CPU load during flight?

Hi there,

Sorry for these special question, but I am really serios:

Usually when I use the P3D I enjoy the great graphics and overall performance.
But in some situations, especially during hot summer days, I'd prefer P3D will produce as low CPU load as possible to minimize the waste heat from my PC.
During long lasting flights with no online ATC when I am away from keyboard there's no need for the P3D to produce excellent graphics. Just the aircraft simulation and the navigation has to go on.

Is there any ability to switch off or minimize the graphics during such phases of a flight?
