After installing an "old" FSX aircraft in V4 and selecting this aircraft I receive this "no preview available" instead of an image of the aircraft.

Not a geek, but from my own experience, I would assume your old FSX aircraft might probably not be a native FSX aircraft, and might possibly be an FS9 portover, or contain some FS9 elements or model.
When you select anyway the aircraft with no preview, does it display on the runway/taxiway without misfits or missing parts?
When leaving FSX for P3D, I had to put in the "museum" hangar various aircrafts which were not displaying at all, or not displaying properly.
