John,

Is it possible that we could see a FULL DX10 patch in the near future? How would this affect performance?

Hi,

There are other posts relating to this as well in other topics. We are currently working on updating to DX11. No timeframe on when this will be available, but not until sometime next year.

John

Just to make sure I'm not missing anything: there isn't a 1.2 "patch" per se, the only way to go from 1.1 to 1.2 is to re-download the entire package, and re-install, yes?

Also, assuming the above is true; as I've already validated my 1.1 install, what does this mean for my activation keys? ie, do I burn through another one in the uninstall 1.1/install 1.2 process, or will uninstalling 1.1 deactivate one of the keys, and free it up for 1.2?

Hi,

Yes, it is a full download for this version. The patching system has been updated though for 1.2, so any further releases will have the ability to do a patch. The license key will continue to work for this version, so no need to re-license. We would recommend an uninstall of v1.1 first. (keys aren't affected by uninstall)

Regards,

John
