Hi Dylan,

As you can read I had the same problems. Now my P3D including all the ORBX sceneries, REX and MyTraffic runs as never before. With my Cherokee frt from 40 to 110.

I will help you.
- uninstall all the p3d and orbx
- clean your computer and repair all your registers. Download a well known program for this. Do not go on without!!
- download the latest version of p3d, DO NOT USE the hotfix.
- download all the add-ons again. Only use the LATEST versions of ORBX.
- do download the libs from ORBX. Without is a good install NOT possible.

After install of p3d make a test situation. You will see, depending of your computer a frt above the 50.

- now install ORBX carefully and use the libs!!!

After I did all above the p3d did not run smoothly. I got frustrated till I did:

- configure the p3d by using the movies on YouTube. configure the p3d
- DO NOT change the setting of your video card
- auto vegetation setting on dense. Not above because it is not natural.

Now I fly above Open Europe and it runs as never before. Trees are on the right place, beautiful clouds, lot of A1 on the airfields and I am a happy pilot again and I prepare my holiday in France.

Regards and tell us how it works with you

Hi Loek,

I did a clean install from the latest version without the hot fix.
The only addons I have is FSUIPC and some models from Dino. No addon scenery.
I can get over the neighborhoods randomly showing up. What I don't get is why it's
happening. Also, why are clouds attached to the ground around 6,000ft msl.
Another bug I noticed, is NAS Whiting Field (KNSE). The runaways are half missing, taxi lights
are floating and the apron is covering some of the runway. Just baffles me.
This is a bit too complex for me. I can follow instructions but I have no idea what you are
referring to. (ORBX)
Thanks again
Dylan

Uninstall p3d by using the uninstall program AND taking away all the other p3d stuff, read about the answers from our p3d hero Saul.

Clean install is first cleaning your computer and repairing the registers. Use CCleaner.

Then download the latest version of p3d and install it. The add-ons you use maybe are not to use with p3d 2.5. Find it out. Do know that the directory structure in p3d 2.5 has changed. That also is your problem. Some stays and some is renewed.

Then fine-tuning by using https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nKL8HZKyq3Y

That is all I know and it will give good results

I was also getting the "You must be logged in to download this file" I tried in IE and Chrome with same results. Was definitely logged in correctly. Only way I could get it to work was to download on another computer.

Hey Loek. I did see that video and used those settings. I would
rather not mess with the registry. The program is working fine.
Just some bugs (if that's appropriate) in the program.
1. Will your solution fix my cloud level problem?
2.Will it fix the noticeably missing runway at NAS Whiting South (KNDZ)
I would upload images, but can't figure how to in this thread.

In mine I see the 2 runways. Clouds as normal. It has to do with the level and there are some strange dikes around the field.

May be try to buy the Pilot's FS Global 2010 Mesh, that because of the level and runway. But the rest??

I have no problem so you should also have none. Please do what I told to uninstall and install etc.

Dylan,
I took a quick look at KNSE and it seemed fine, but KNDE to the north looks like your post. Seems like the default scenery is to blame. If you're on the active and zoom up with F12, at some point the runways appear. Doesn't help with floating buildings though. I am running 2.5.12945.0 but I don't think it's to blame.

Hi Dave,
Thank you for confirming this.
I just did another clean install and now
cleaned the registry like Loek advised.
We'll see...
