Re: 6.1HF3 and AI add on traffic (AIG and UTLive)

The problem with the aircraft crashing into terrain may be caused by the airports in P3D not being in the same positions as those indicated in the AI flight plans.

Re: Issues with 8 GB VRAM

Msintle, As you can see from the system requirements, you are at the minimum necessary for the VRAM. And since your system is a laptop, you cannot do anything about the graphics adapter. Therefore you'll have to experiment with lowering your graphics settings, until you find a combination where P3D ...

Re: Airport exclusion

It is the responsibility of any add-on developer to ensure that his product works with the intended target version of the flight simulator. It is not the responsibility of the flight simulator developer to make the flight simulator work with the add-on. Those are the basic rules. End of that story. ...

Re: addons not showing up

Glad this made sense to you! You see now what I mean: every developer packages their product (aircraft, sceneries etc etc) differently, so you have to take a moment to sit back and read the instructions, just in case there is a surprise in there. I do that all the time even after starting with the o...

Re: addons not showing up

When you download those add-on aircraft, there should be some installation instructions in the package. It is really, really important that you read, understand and then follow those instructions to the letter . If there's anything in them that you do not understand, then you need to ask questions f...

You know, you should also address this question to the Varjo people. They would/should know all about this.

Re: Panning in Cockpit View

If the issue was already there in FSX with the same hardware, chances are it would get progressively worse with each version of P3D, as the hardware system requirements get more and more serious with each new version. But there just also might be "something else" slowing this down, if your...

Re: Panning in Cockpit View

FSUIPC shound not have a bearing on this, rather your graphics adapter.

What are your systems specs here?

Re: P3D v5 Academic require Internet connection during use?

Ray is correct.

V. 6 requires such a connection, v. 5 does not.

Re: Does P3D V4 work better than P3D V3?

I did not have v. 3 myself, as I "transitioned" from FSX into v. 4. But I can tell you that v. 4 in my experience was rock-stable, and worked much better than FSX, if that will mean anything to you. I will also say that if your system can handle it, you might want to go to v. 5 or v. 6 ins...

Hello Ideroo,

Can you get the error information from Windows Event Viewer at the time of such a crash?

Re: Problem Loading Mission FSX on P3D V3 Crashing

Hello Thomas,

This exception code points to what's going on:

Exception code: 0xc0000374

This can be a bit of a pain to resolve, but try as a first step to look at this page:

Please let us know how this goes -

I don't have v. 3 myself, but can you find the error information from the time when P3D closes on you in Windows Event Viewer?

Re: landing gear

Joop,

Your Dakota would seem to be an add-on aircraft. Have you tried asking its developer?

And ALT326, if the air craft where your issue is happening also is an add-on aircaft, have you then tried to ask its developer?
