You have something that has messed up your scenery. You need to remove all addons from your sim so that there is nothing but the base sim provided by L-M. Assuming you've installd the current SDK, inside the Prepar3D SDK folder:
bglcomp.exe - World\Scenery folder
shp2vec.exe - World\Terrain folder

The OS will not allow forward slashes in a filename, so there's no way L-M can make it do otherwise.

1. No need to use FSUIPC to obtain lat/lon of aircraft. None.
2. To calculate lat/lon of gear you simply need to use a great circle projection from the aircraft's lat/lon based on heading and distance to nose gear.
