Re: problem with PTA 2.63 and P3D V.4.4

This is something the developers of PTA should be dealing with, it is not a L-M issue.

Re: Photoscenery extremely overexposed in 4.4

I'm sorry, but I disagree. I have absolutely no issues with this setup. Seriously, none.

Re: Photoscenery extremely overexposed in 4.4

OC your cpu to 4.2 or more
You probably also do not have enough VRAM and Internal Menory
Uh... no.

I run i7 6800K @ 3.4ghz with 16gb DDR4 memory and an nVidia 1070 GTX with 8gb VRAM. I do not have the issues being reported by that user

Re: Separate Axis Throttle controls

The sim already supports assignment of four separate throttle, mixture and propeller axis inputs.

Re: Photoscenery extremely overexposed in 4.4

Are you using any third party shaders? Are you using custom device settings in your video card's control panel?

Re: Something is wrong with how P3D reads my addon xml entries

Using a 3rd party application to control the content of the file means you should be talking to the developer of the third party app.

Re: AGAIN!!!!

That particular error code is common in Visual Basic 6 code. Is there any addon you're using that was developed using VB6?

Re: Photoscenery extremely overexposed in 4.4

Can we agree that we all downloaded the same software?

If the software is the same across the systems, but the result is not... it is most definitely going to be something system specific.

Re: Hardware change, you have to re-enable the P3D license?

I would say it is wise to deactivate and then reactivate your client license, which is done via the uninstall.

Re: Photoscenery extremely overexposed in 4.4

This thread is about the OP's overexposed photoreal issues. My system is stock and untouched intentionally and will remain so. I am showing that the overexposure they are having is not based on stock sim behavior. There has to be other software and/or settings that are changing the display's output....

Re: P3D won't start

Any addons that are v4 compliant would not require any reinstallation.

Re: Photoscenery extremely overexposed in 4.4

The lighting and appearance is unchanged on my system. Here is Prepar3D v4 @ KVPS in June with MegasceneryEarth Florida 4X photoscenery:

Re: Photoscenery extremely overexposed in 4.4

I am not seeing any significant changes in the rendering of photoscenery across the versions. Here are three screen shots from the sim. No HDR lighting active using MegasceneryEarth's Florida 4X photoscenery in all four sims. All images are KVPS over RW30. Here is v2: http://i.imgur.com/YnLKFJH.jpg ...

Re: Photoscenery extremely overexposed in 4.4

Since I am not sitting in front of your computer, it would be unlikely that I could resolve your issue. I also believe that to be true for pretty much anyone else. I firmly believe it is something on your system that is the root of the issue. A thought.... Just because you uninstalled an application...

Re: Photoscenery extremely overexposed in 4.4

With the inability to reproduce the same conditions consistently across systems... this is going to most likely be a system level issue. When I go to any location stated, the color levels are all correct and not over-exposed at all. I do not have any post-processing addons installed on my system.
