Re: Key Listing - Default types

The unassigned list at FSDeveloper was created by a developer, not Microsoft.

Re: Best way to add aircraft from FSX

You can not use FSX gauges with Prepar3D v4. They are 32-bit and Prepar3D v4 is 64-bit.

Re: Airborne turn radius

Now what is not precisely done in P3D, ESP, FSX or any MSFS before is the quality of the simulation. It appears as if the simulation is based on lookup tables rather than solving the physics real time. This is not a true statement. While tables are used for many aspects (same as Level-D sims), ther...

Re: Network Preventing Sim Location to Be Broadcasted?

It is possible they have something blocking the broadcast on the hardware. It is also possible that you have an IP mismatch. Ensure that the wireless and the wired are on the same IP tier. The first 3 sets of numbers need to be the same.

Re: Network Preventing Sim Location to Be Broadcasted?

Do you see the sim as a device in the Foreflight app's devices list? If so, do you see a checkmark beside it? If so, what color?

Re: Network Preventing Sim Location to Be Broadcasted?

Ok, I will assume you have GPS Out turned on in Prepar3D. Ensure your network allows UDP packets on port 49002.

Re: Network Preventing Sim Location to Be Broadcasted?

I suspect to get Foreflight to work you will have to check to see if broadcasts are supported on your college's network. My guess would be no. If it doesn't broadcast packets you're going to have to see if you can configure Foreflight and Prepar3D to do a direct connection instead.

Re: Menu bar suggestion

A tap of the Alt key brings the menu visible. A hold of the Alt key makes it go away.

Re: Problems regarding use of mydocuments as addon location

You are going to have to take this up with the individual developers. They should not have put all of those files in your documents folder. There is absolutely no reason to do so. The only needed file would have been an add-ons.xml file in a developer named folder to tell Prepar3D to include the add...

Re: problem with PTA 2.63 and P3D V.4.4

This is something the developers of PTA should be dealing with, it is not a L-M issue.

OC your cpu to 4.2 or more
You probably also do not have enough VRAM and Internal Menory
Uh... no.

I run i7 6800K @ 3.4ghz with 16gb DDR4 memory and an nVidia 1070 GTX with 8gb VRAM. I do not have the issues being reported by that user

Re: Photoscenery extremely overexposed in 4.4

Are you using any third party shaders? Are you using custom device settings in your video card's control panel?

Re: Something is wrong with how P3D reads my addon xml entries

Using a 3rd party application to control the content of the file means you should be talking to the developer of the third party app.
