To ensure there is never, ever a rounding error when dealing with the radios... I always split out the whole and fractional values as separate integers for manipulation.

Is the N1 value being reported by the sim a hard-coded process? Nothing changed in the .air file appears to impact it's value whatsoever. It appears stuck at a maximum possible value of 101.5.

No, it's actually rendering code as well to control the LOD and speed at which items are processed for rendering. I have seen it's significant performance increase in other games and can attest that it is far, far more than what you describe.
