Re: Odd problem with camera views

Also-

are there any micro-switches in your mixture controller (for throttle detent or starters etc)?

And does it happen when you move the controller in either direction or in one direction only?

Re: Setting multiple monitors / pojectors

I don't know of an official way to do it - I would love to know if it can be done. As a workaround you can move the horizon and centreline using the camera.cfg and the camera entries in the saved scenario files - but it's a bit of a kludge. (ie. By making the camera look down the horizon will shift ...

Re: Helicopters collective and control

I would make sure you have full travel in the calibration window so that the controller and the graphic hit max and min values at the same time.

Then make sure you have your axis sensitivity set max and null zone set to zero

Re: ...and Sound Problems

It could be your traffic add-ons.

When developing our aircraft we had to block traffic add-ons from trying to mess with our engines.

Re: Setting multiple monitors / pojectors

@ Saldo You can modify the views for all your aircraft at once by editing the "camera.cfg" file But that doesn't solve what Chlumto is describing - the view centre will still be in the centre of the screen and perpendicular to it. That means your views only work correctly if your screen ce...

Re: Animating aircraft model

Animations don't reference variables directly - they use a piece of code. That way you can add things like "if variable x is set to on, respond to variable y divided by two" The properties you see when modelling refer to these little formulas. You can take a look at them or even write your...

Re: Best way to move camera rather than avatar or aircraft

You can move around by writing position co-ordinates via Simconnect

We do it with external physics simulators so that they use P3d visuals/environment/weather/objects but move around according to a completely external physics.physics engine.

Then it doesn't sound like the same issue after all.

Does the same happen when one of the other members hosts the session ?

Re: INCLUDING A FLOATING DISPLAY AREA

Could the information be displayed as relatively static images ? ie limited interaction/animation You could float a fairly standard gauge anywhere you want, turn it on/off and display "pages" as long as you have access to the model source code. (Unless I've misunderstood what you want to a...

Re: Aircraft not showing in MP

I suspect it is the same things people are reporting with AI traffic - that the model is disappearing earlier than expected. That is why I was curious to know if the models were visible at very close range. The core code will stop drawing aircraft below a certain size. Perhaps that size has been cha...

Re: No contrails/ engine effects in P3Dv3.1

The next thing I would try is rebuilding your shaders by clearing them out of
C:\%%%USER_NAME%%%\AppData\Local\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\Shaders

Reconfiguring your card might have upset something

Re: No contrails/ engine effects in P3Dv3.1

The F22 should be producing smoke at startup via the standard effects/enpos script Have you lost vapour trails too Nik? Are there any particle effects you can see on aircraft and also on scenery (anything that looks like it might be sprite based) Edit: sorry, you already answered that in your first ...

Re: Aircraft not showing in MP

The model and paint can only be called if you have it on your machine so there are no licence or EULA issues (because the model itself is not transmitted) If you don't have that model/paint the sim will replace it with a library model (unless things changed recently) Do the multiplayer aircraft mode...
