Thanks for the confirmation George. I also copied the bgl's from FSX and agree all my default scenery now shows properly.

In FSX/P3D there are VOR's, VOR + DME and DME only.

The navaids you are refering to are DME only. The GPS will identify what type VOR you have tuned.
