Please check for a post reference Thrustmanster HOTAS by "pimd or pjmd". I had this problem also. He suggested checking the axis assignment for the throttle in controls/ throttle/ axis. Mine said "button 10" not Z axis as it should. If this works for you the credit should go to "pimd".
