Re: Throttle 3 does not work with thrustmaster HOTAS
You misunderstand the problem. When I use a single throttle and map it as a single throttle, all the throttles in the simulator move except throttle 3. I can only move throttle 3 with the mouse and when i move the mouse to another position the throttle snaps back to idle. The thrustmaster throttle w...

Re: Throttle 3 does not work with thrustmaster HOTAS
I am using P3DV4 with HF3. But I had the same problem with all the previous versions of P3D and different throttles. WhenI bind all the sim throttles to one hardware throttle throttle three is the only one that doesn't move. But it does respond to the mouse. I tried using FSUIPC without success. It ...

Throttle 3 does not work with thrustmaster HOTAS
I have not been able to get throttle #3 to move using any of the following: Microsoft sidewinder, Thrustmaster HOTAS or Logitech X-56 throttles. I can pair 1 and 2 to the left but when I pair 3 and 4 only 4 moves. I have tried using my registered FSUIPC same negative results. I am using the P3Dv4 C1...

Re: Thrustmaster Warthog Setup
I found two ways. First go into options/controls. Select the Thrustmaster throttle from the pull down menu. Find engine one throttle from the list and assign it to the left throttle. Then find engine 2 throttle and assign it to the right throttle. If there are any other throttle assignments delete t...

P3D ver 3.0 and Module
I had P3D 2.all of them and now upgraded to P3D Academic ver3.0 using Windows 10. No problems down loading and the program runs like a Swiss watch, no problems. I cannot find the "Modules" nor the "Add On Scenery" sub directories. I need them to install Linda and FSUIPC. Are they...

Re: Prepar3D ini file
Thanks, I discovered one of my problems was due to previously having a Thrustmaster F-22 HOTAS installed. Windows did not sense that it was an A-10 double throttle set up, so the calibration program thought the other throttle was in fact a button. It works with all my standard P3D acft except the Ae...

Prepar3D ini file
Where is the Prepar3D.ini file located? I cannot find it. I have looked in the App/roaming and MyDocuments/Prepar3D. I am having a great deal of difficulty using the Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS and it has been suggested to me that I delete the .ini file then retart P3D and try again.

<t>Maniacalmorgan and Tim. Thank you for your posts, I had the same issue. Tim solved my problem. I went to disk cleanup on my C: drive and checked the temp file. Windows reported it empty. I then ran CCleaner and it reported it almost full. I used CCleaner to clear it. I was then able to install P3...

<t> I am a real world helo pilot with more hours than I want to admit. There are helicopters with pedals that have a "sprung" feeling if you don't disengage the stability system. But as jimcooper says, it would be much easier and realistic to find some unsprung pedals or make your own as depicted at...

<t>It is amazing to read about so many variations of the same problem with P3D and Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS (and other hardware). My issue was the lack of throttle response even though the hardware shows up in the options/controls/ menu. Somewhere in this forum there is another post wherein "pimd"...

<t> I have the Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS and P3D ver 2.5 FSUIPC purchased ver 3.93. My throttle will only decrease to about 66% at idle on the F-22 and the equivalent on all the other acft. I have tried recalibrating many many times. FSUIPC does not see the throttle when I move it. If I use FSX it ...
