Re: V5: ATC-windows crash VCRUNTIME140.dll
Hi,
Correct me if I'm wrong - but you can't select an option in GSX and still leave the SImConnect menu open can you? I can undock and move to another screen but selecting GSX boarding or pushback etc closes the window...

Re: V5: ATC-windows crash VCRUNTIME140.dll
I've tried running my CPU at default clock speeds and still get the issue.
I'm not sure I've seen an acknowledgement from LM publicly about the issue - just the comments from Virtuali at FSDT that they are aware.

Re: P3D V5 (DXGI_ERROR__DEVICE _HUNG) Eerror
Hi Bill, You can hunt all you like with disabling addons but from my experience (and a significant number of others users) the error your talking about occurs frequently with V5 HF2. Short of running a vanilla default P3D you're probably going to get an error of some sort with this version - its jus...

Another - This time opening an ATC to request clearance 10 minutes after starting the simulator. Crash straight to desktop.

Re: P3D 5.1??
Hi LM,
Agreed. Are you able to provide any indication when we can expect 5.1 or a further update?
Thanks,

Re: Hotfix 3
My point is: Your system has to have that installed to have a chance at all of solving the issue. I know that it unfortunately does not solve the problem for everyone. DirectX 12 - where the error message comes from - is relatively new, and therefore still requires considerable effort from Microsof...

Re: V5: ATC-windows crash VCRUNTIME140.dll
Add me to the list of people expirencing this issue. Happens both with and without GSX running irrespective of the airplane or scenery. I've tried many of the above steps including uninstalling all VS Runtimes however the problem continues. C'mon Lockheed Martin - I wouldn't have thought now is the ...

Re: P3D V5 Hotfix 2 ?
With due respect, no software ever comes out perfect because every system, setting and combination of addons/apps is unique and impossible to fully cater for. Users purchase software at their own risk and accept that it wont be immediately perfect. Neil with all due respect, if I ran my business wi...

Re: P3D V5 Hotfix 2 ?
I don't think anybody is demanding anything or trying to hold anybody to anything.....just asking nicely if we could get an update......
If the update was "We can't give you an update at this time..." then at least thats some form of communication which is better than none.

Re: P3D V5 Hotfix 2 ?
So you know that LM don' have time for communication because there is a "ton of work". Do you work for LM or are you just making assumptions? There is literally not much time for communication, there's a ton of work, while the customers' expectations are such that the time is short.

Re: P3D V5 Hotfix 2 ?
I understand the frustration, but I will need to copy part of a former reply in this thread: "To publish some release date and then have it slip (as happens so often) would be setting and then failing to meet user's expectations which is not a Good Thing™." In fact, setting and then failing to meet...

Re: P3D V5 Hotfix 2 ?
I asked the same question on 20 May and Rob kindly responded very quickly to say "in the next couple of weeks". Today is technically the end of the next couple of weeks but I'm not going to be upset if we don't see it today or prior to the weekend. It would however be nice just to have a bit of an u...

Timelines for the next P3D V5 Update
Hi LM, Excuse me if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but I was wondering if you could provide any expected/approximate timeframes for the next update (be it a patch, HF or .1 release) to P3D V5. Understand things change and you might not want to be tied down to an exact date, but are you able to a...
