Re: When will Floating Houses Ever be Fixed ?
Jorgen and Vaughan, you may or may not be right in this matter, but believe me, your attitude clearly discourages users to report issues here. That's exactly the answer for people asking at AVSIM "Why don't you report this bug in the Prepar3d forum?" I refer to another thread about CTDs, w...

Re: When Will You Be Fixing The CTD issue?
One of the crashing routes and the exact point of crash (where the route ends) can be seen on the FS-FlightControl screenhot in the middle of the page 2 of this thread. https://www.prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6312&t=137852&start=15#p217877 I made several approaches under differing con...

Re: When Will You Be Fixing The CTD issue?
Vaughan, here's the result of further investigation: No ORBX active at all (actually only the Simulator base entries), this time a default plane (Mooney Bravo), no FS-FlightControl running networked (actually the networked laptop was completely off), Crash Detection off. I took off from EGLC with a ...

Re: When Will You Be Fixing The CTD issue?
Yes, I am a Beta tester of FS-FlightControl. However, the present version is a stable one, not a beta, it's just the beta license being active. Besides, I am running it networked via SimConnect, thus it shouldn't interfere with the sim. CrashDetection=False, which means it's off, right? It's too lat...

Re: When Will You Be Fixing The CTD issue?
Here's another result. I deactivated all ORBX stuff, including Base and the Libs and stuff. Only the barebone P3D5 entries left active. Took off from EGLL, took the same route - and crashed at the very same point. It's very reproducible for me. No ATC active at all.

Re: When Will You Be Fixing The CTD issue?
I think I got an interesting result. I repeated the flight from yesterday, same route, same configuration. And guess what, the CTD happened at exactly the same point. This time I made a screenshot of the route: https://michael-basler.net/Flight_Simulation/stapleford.jpg CTD happens on approach to EG...

Re: When Will You Be Fixing The CTD issue?
My CTD was from EGLL via EGLC on approach to EGSG Stapleford in an Alabeo C172RG, but this can just have been by coniciodence and may happen elsewhere as well. Anyway, I'll try to repeat the flight tonight.

Re: When Will You Be Fixing The CTD issue?
I was flying over ORBX TE GE South (v5 compatible) North of London while I was pushed to the desktop. .NET Runtime error 1026 ---------------------------------------------------------- Anwendung: PREPAR3D.EXE Frameworkversion: v4.0.30319 Beschreibung: Der Prozess wurde aufgrund einer unbehandelten A...

Re: Popping/changing mountain mesh
And, as already stated, it can be done. Neither X-Plane11 nor AeroflyFS2 show this morphing terrain. Given AeroflyFS2 runs at 120 fps on my system hardware can't be the limiting factor those days.

Re: P3DV5. Jagged lines on Raster
I observed this as well a couple of times, with EA on, but on the l.h.s. border. It's not present always, though. May or may not be be related to another graphics issue on my monitor

Re: Autogen performance and Prepar3D v5
The bigger issue is that it loads in visible patches while flying if you use a setting higher than "medium" for "autogen draw distance". Something that was reported over and over again since v4.0 and still not fixed. If it is not fixable, devs could tell us that, no? Not simply ...

Re: Please correct errors or click cancel
After several hours of research, I could isolate the issue in my case. I use FS-FlightControl as a MovingMap on a networked machine which (with certain settings) can set weather in the simulator. This kept resetting several wind layers where two of them were (slightly) overlapping which triggered th...
