Re: Chevrolet Suburban WIP

To close the "Suburban not moving" issue: It is something in EZDOK / EZCA3 which glues the Chevy to the gound. Once deactivated, it runs like a charm.

Re: Chevrolet Suburban WIP

A Happy New Year to you all :) My Suburban doesn't move either. Version is P3D v4.5HF2. Steering, gear shifting, lights, doors etc. do work, engine revs up and tires squeak briefly when stepping on the gas pedal, impressive smoke effect (eat your heart out, Greta). Parking brake is released. Driving...

P3D starting with mouse and keyboard inactive

Hi, I have a strange problem. Sometimes P3D starts with the mouse buttons and parts of the keyboard inactive. I can move the mouse pointer, but I cannot execute any functions. Sometimes, the keys come back after a few minutes, or I must kill the P3D process in the task manager. I can access the menu...

Re: ProgramData and Appdata

The question is missing (hit Submit accidentally and posted too early):

What is the difference between the duplicate files?

ProgramData and Appdata

Hello, I have a question to better understand how P3D works with regard to configuration files. The files add-ons.cfg dll.xml exe.xml are duplicate: one is in ProgramData, one is in Appdata\Roaming. Addon installers use both locations with no discernible logic behind it. I myself have found no issue...

UT Live and P3Dv 4.2

Hello, I have recently installed UT Live, and while everything worked flawless for a while, now I notice an odd behavior when closing P3D: First, I get a notification "utlclient has stopped working". Second, I get another notification "prepar3d.exe has stopped working" Everything shuts down in the e...

Re: Moving to a new PC

Ah, thank you. I take it that this does not (yet) affect the installation itself on the old PC, in case I want to switch back. Why would I want to do this? I want to try out an AMD system after decades of Intel. If it works, I'll keep it, if not, I would go back to my old system and change the new s...

[RESOLVED] Moving Prepar3D to a new PC, deactivating question

Hi, I plan to buy a new PC system for P3D. What is the best way to move over? I would not want to uninstall P3D from the old PC before having it installed and tested on the new system. Can I activate P3D on both PC (most certainly not)? Can I "switch" activation forth and back? Or would I need a sec...

Jim,

there is still a menu bar on the lower left screen - could you get rid of this? And are you using one ore more than one PC for this setup?

Regards

Hi all :)<br /> <br /> I am a 47yo flight simmer from Germany who has built an FS9 based single PC home cockpit trainer with a front view streched over 3 monitors (Matrox TH2G) and 3 instrument monitors. A single PC was good for FS9, but I don't think it'll work with FSX. My goal is a home cockpit w...
