Has anyone had any experience making multiple SimConnect connections to a P3D session? How well does P3D handle pushing data from two or more SimConnect connections?

We have gone to Windows 7 64-bit on our target systems. However , our Engineering laptops are XP 32-bit.

When we build on our laptop with VS2010 Net 4.0 for X86 and install the image on our target, it appears we get an error with regard to the simconnect DLL referencing WIN32.
<br...

One multiplayer change that wouldn't seem to be too complex would be to:

(1) provide server creation and client join capability via the SDK or

(2) provide server creation and client join capability via command line without P3D GUI interaction.

I need to be able to add/remove players from a player network through a network configuration station. Is there currently a way via the SDK to add/remove a player?

Thanks,

One more update on weather. Too see the weather change in the scene I had to add a call to an additional method (WeatherSetModeGlobal):

simconnect.WeatherSetModeCustom();
simconnect.WeatherSetModeGlobal();
simconnect.WeatherSetObservation(1, "GLOB 030405Z 27007KT 15SM SKC 17...

Tim,

We found the API description for the weather methods and METAR definition. Here is a crude hard-coded METAR string example:

// GLOB = Station Identifier (global airport)
// 030405Z = Time (ddhhmmZ)
// 27007KT = Winds (270 degrees at 7 knots)
// 1SM = ...

Tim,

SIM VARS are working as advertised. I have two issues I need help on:

1) Example or point me to example of using the EVENT IDS (Managed C#)

2) Example or point me to example of using the weather methods (Managed C#)

Tim,

Are the EVENT IDS handled with the same AddToDataDefinition, RegisterDataDefinition, and SetDataOnSimObject calls.
