Can you copy and paste the contents of your SimConnect.xml file in to a message to start trouble shooting? I had the same issue and it turned out the SimConnect.xml was slightly incorrect.

Are you running the sim and addons on the same computer or over a network?

It turned out to be the editor i was using. Used the default windows notepad and all was fine.

I never knew about the command line option so that will be good info to file away.

When starting P3D i am being asked to start two addons that i have installed in the documents folder every time. This never used to happen and once i approved them they would load fine but after updating the Orbx Objectflow i am now getting this request. Is there any way to stop this?

Are you testing it on the ground? Spoilers wont deploy on the ground. Try it again in the air.

I have the same issue. I went as far as uninstalling P3D completely, removing all folders and clearing the registry and then doing a full clean install. No addons at all and clean P3D V4.1 and i get the same issue of the program crashing when closing it.

Apart from that it runs beautifully.

It is most likely your scenery layering causing it. I have NZNI and NZSI loaded with no issues at any of the airfields mentioned.
