Your graphic card may be new, but the drivers may not be up to date. It is often these that cause graphical problems like you are having.

I don't think this is a scenery problem, more likely a problem with your graphics card/drivers or settings.

Try turning cloud shadows off as a start and see if that resolves it. If so (and it's something you should do anyway), upgrade your graphics card drivers.

It's not a problem, just how the variable load on your computer manifests itself (i.e. loading in new scenery data, textures etc etc)
