Re: Lack of ozone contribution in EA sky

I tweaked a bit in the mod and it looks that I was able to get rid of this yellow/green tint of fog and haze during dusk/dawn. You can download the tweaked shaders here. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1vEX7Ym2feXdb7uTeHUs45Bq62_fZe4LS?usp=sharing Note that I only tested this with EA/non-vol...

Re: Lack of ozone contribution in EA sky

Yes, as long as you have Enhanced Atmospherics enabled, you can use both volumetric and legacy clouds with this mod. However you shouldn't use Envshade.

Re: Lack of ozone contribution in EA sky

@biologicalnanobot any updates? Nothing significant right now, without having access to trueSKY itself there is not much I can do. Currently I am working on adding ozone contribution to sun diffuse color too. I also tried to address ugly high-altitude sky colors but nothing I have tried worked so f...

Re: Lack of ozone contribution in EA sky

I have an idea why the author disappeared and did not write anything more. It's simple enough - since inibuilds announced the creation of their shader editor, with settings similar to what was published here, the author was either asked or buy it. So as not to interfere with the release of a commer...

Re: Very dark cockpit in 5.2

To make the shadow areas in the cockpit bright by means of HDR - well, that's not a good idea. The Prepar architecture allows you to adjust the brightness for many objects separately and independently. But HDR processing standards should be standardized and not change. Because in HDR all the object...

Re: Lack of ozone contribution in EA sky

Hi, A new version of the Enhanced Atmospherics sky and cloud ozone tweak is finally ready. Be noted that the mod is only compatible with Prepar3D v5.3 HF1 + Update. Changelog: - Added separate controls for sky & cloud brightness, saturation and ozone levels during day, twilight and night - thes...

Re: Lack of ozone contribution in EA sky

I made another test flight and found this problem with low haze : https://i.imgur.com/xmGP2cV.png This brown haze disappeared 2 minutes later. I use ActiveSky build 8042. Hi, This is because fog is still not taking ozone contribution into account, I will update the mod soon to include fog too.

Re: Lack of ozone contribution in EA sky

I would also like to request a feature for the upcoming P3D update (P3D v5.3 HF2 presumably) once again - more controls for Enhanced Atmospherics being exposed through VolumetricClouds.cfg (or some other) file. I really hope LM hears me in that regard. I am really grateful for the work LM has done f...

Re: Lack of ozone contribution in EA sky

Hi, After v5.3, with EA ON, most sceneries have the issue reported in the link below (screenshot), where many objects are not covered by the haze. Is it possible to modify any shaders parameters in order to fix this issue? Thanks. https://www.dropbox.com/s/tk1weo25zkbtbgb/EA.JPG?dl=0 Hi, I have fix...

Re: Lack of ozone contribution in EA sky

Thanks for the tweak and I’ll like to try it out. After I replaced the original code with the tweaked ones, I was unable to save the file in it’s original fx extension. It prompts me to save as a txt instead. Please enlighten me on how to work around this. Thanks Hi, This sounds like you are not ru...

Re: Lack of ozone contribution in EA sky

I really hope Lockheed Martin makes an official comment on the situation whether this change was intentional or not, as sky colors back in v5.0 were much better.

Re: Lack of ozone contribution in EA sky

Hi there. I have downloaded the file and tested it. I have spent days behind my desk testing P3D (Beta tester) and this looks amazing! Great work and it makes such a huge difference. I do hope LM will use your enhanced shader as it is simply looking great! If I can do some further testing, do not h...

BAWV12 wrote: Mon Jan 03, 2022 8:08 am Is possible use ozone calculations for legacy 2D clouds ?
Not yet, but I will add that too. With the current version legacy clouds still look the same.
