Re: Sky and Cloud reflections seen on the ground.
I had this issue as well. Solution is to make sure you have at least LOW dynamic reflections selected. Mine were off completely. I set it to LOW and it fixed the problem. Same for super shiny aircraft. lol

Re: V5: ATC-windows crash VCRUNTIME140.dll
I had this issue earlier in the summer and discovered that not having the .exe file to run as administrator was causing a lot of grief. I kept getting these widows files causing CTD's and that seemed to be the cause. For GSX it was the same thing, I made sure all the .exe's that I could find related...

Re: TrueSky sun position
I don't use TrueSky currently and it still happens. Really biggest thing I notice is the amount of light (and sun position).

Re: Sun position not updating with passage of time.
Glad I'm not the only crazy one! I noticed this as well. Was wondering why it was so dark, then checked the time, and all of a sudden the sun moved and it became brighter.

Re: DXGI-ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG
The new Flight Simulator (Microsoft). I only have had VRAM issues with V5, I'm assuming, because DX12 handles that differently than DX11. Turning down settings absolutely helped. I have 11GB of VRAM on my GPU and using settings similar to V4, totally wiped out that memory. I was getting .dll error c...

Re: DXGI-ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG
Yeah I didn't get any of these errors in V4 HF2 either. Just after using V5 and the new FS. Considering I was on both platforms I have attributed it to some new variables out there in Windows. W10 2004 has helped for sure, especially with VRAM optimization. I really feel bad for people though becaus...

Re: P3Dv5 Is it Worth it
I think it's definitely worth it, just have to get the bugs worked out. I had to reinstall Windows and decided to try V4 HF3 and it really didn't perform well...I don't remember having issues with HF2. V5 has been a lot better performing but again, the bugs with it make it a bit frustrating at times...

Re: DXGI-ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG
One thing I can suggest, is that if you are using the Windows Insider option in Updates, select the "Fast" option. You will get updates as soon as they come out. It can be a pain because it can, sometimes, take a while to do the update, but in all honesty with DX12 it's a good idea. That's...

Re: P3D V5 Hotfix 2 ?
It will come when it's ready. I can tell you that after having to basically wipe out my computer and start over last week, I decided not to install V5 again and go with the new HF for V4. That was a bad decision. After a week of using the new V4, I was about ready to pull my hair out this morning an...

Re: Mouse Wheel not turning knobs in VC
Ugh, never mind I figured out what the problem was. It was my mouse control software. I deleted it completely and now the scroll works to move the knobs. The image posting is another issue that my 45 year old brain can't deal with and glad I don't have to worry about it now! haha. Thank you for your...

Re: Mouse Wheel not turning knobs in VC
I edited it. I don't use image hosting so I had to setup an account and got a security email after I posted here. Hopefully that works. Otherwise I can just tell you what's selected or not on the options

I just used the F35 and it doesn't work with that either.
