I can confirm your problem. This is an example Taking off from ESGP. In some minutes you will see a long pauses like 1:19.

It is good that you want to help the community but i can not find what are you referring to that is why with a photo or video it is easier for developers to correct the problem.

This should only happen when you install or uninstall a scenario such as: Orbx, LatinVFR, PILOT'S FSG - FS GLOBAL ULTIMATE.

Have you tried deleting the file scenery.cgf on C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5, then try to run P3D V5 again in order that this file can regenerate again.

Have you tried to do some test by increasing the following settings, just to check:

Tessellation Factor: High.
Mesh resolution: 5 m.
Texture resolution: 30 cm.
Texture resolutions: High.
