Re: Can barely hear ATC voices
I solved this problem by turning the engine sound down to 5% and adjusting environmental and cockpit sound to 80%, leaving the voice at 100% and cranking up the main PC volume significantly. This turned out to be a good mix. Voices are now easily heard. I just need to remember to turn down the main ...

Can barely hear ATC voices
Is there any way to turn up the volume on the Air Traffic Control. I already have the volume set to 100% on the Options - General - Sound. I have the engine sound at 20% and Environment and cockpit at 99%. The only thing that's really loud is the engines. If it wasn't for the ATC text I wouldn't ha...

Re: Problems with sounds
So, I finally decided what i needed to do was reinstall P3Dv4.5. I reinstalled the client, the content and the scenery. I didn't see, or hear, any improvement right at first. After playing around with it for another half a day the ATC sound returned on all the aircraft so I loaded up the Electra to ...

Problems with sounds
I am running P3Dv4.5 a couple of days ago I lost all sounds with the Electra 10A. Other aircraft have sound. Other programs have sound, music, videos all OK. Now today I have lost ATC sound on all aircraft I have tested. Any idea why this is happening? Can you give me some suggestions what to look f...

Re: GPS for Lockheed Electra
I don't have the whole Beechcraft airplane only the GPS which I believe is a standard GPS. It is also present in other aircraft even in P3Dv4.5 such as the C130. I don't know why he choose to get the GPS from the King Air. Anyway, it works great and I like it.

Re: GPS for Lockheed Electra
Someone from the AvSim forum help me out by showing me how to include the Garmin 500 GPS from the Beechcraft King Air into the Electra. This worked out perfectly. I now have a great GPS in the Lockheed Electra which makes it much easier to find my way around.

Re: GPS for Lockheed Electra
Maybe It's not compatible with p3dV4. the description did say FSX, FSXSE and P3D but maybe it was only for P3D 32bit. I'll keep looking. What else would be really nice would be just a map similar to the one that the A2A aircraft have. Maybe there's something like that that's available. P3D should su...

Re: GPS for Lockheed Electra
Those are really nice and I may go for one eventually but right now I am looking for something simple and free.
The one I am trying to get to work is a vintage style that would probably mate well with the Electra.

Re: GPS for Lockheed Electra
I installed the KLN90B GPS into P3Dv4.5 then loaded up the Lockheed Electra to try it out. The gauge does not show in the Electra and I could see no place to activate it. The operation instructs only talked about how to turn it on and use it once it is in the plane. I need to know how to get it to s...

Re: Does the Flight Recorder Work?
That can turn out to be a lot of rebooting. Too much for me. I have come to the realization that the recorder is going to be hit or miss on my computer. I don't know why but sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Most of the time not. Too much trouble.

GPS for Lockheed Electra
Is there a GPS that can be used with the Lockheed Electra. This is a pretty cool airplane and I have taken a liking to it. But, without a map or GPS it is not easy to find airports and specific runways especially in bad weather. I know I can use the map under the Navigation tab but not while flying....

Re: Does the Flight Recorder Work?
Here is some new information. Last night I decided to try out the default C130J. I had never flown it before. While flying I decided to give the recorder a test. I recorded a 20 minute flight that included a good landing. So after I landed I paused the simulation and loaded up the recording. This ti...

Re: Does the Flight Recorder Work?
I thought the 3 monitors might be the problem but I changed the display to just the center one for both recording and playback and it made no difference. My default flight is an A2A Spitfire, but I have tried the record/playback with several different aircraft including some of the P3Dv4 default pla...

Re: Does the Flight Recorder Work?
I tried shutting down P3D, rebooting the computer, restarting P3D and attempted to play the video. It did the same thing as before. I can load up the video It appears that it was recorded. It shows a video length and it looks like it is ready to play, the plane is where it was when I started to reco...

Re: Does the Flight Recorder Work?
[quote=Do you reboot your PC between all flights (before a new flight or any test flight)?
[/quote]
No, I never thought about rebooting after making the recording and before replaying it. I never saw any suggestion that I should. I will try that and report back.
