Re: P3Dv5.1 - slow loading of scenarios and flightplans

No I'm getting this behavior when loading a flight plan from file generated by Simbrief. I can't remember when if ever I have generated a flight plan in P3D. After I select the plan in the load screen and hit ok it "loads" but then it may take up to 5 min for the map to fill in and complete the proc...

Re: P3Dv5.1 - slow loading of scenarios and flightplans

At time I get the same thing It takes a long time for the flightplan to load. I just go away and get a drink or something as it loads. Other times it is pretty snappy.

Re: Adjusting to time zone correction

Why can‘t we just have everything in UTC? Just use the real time globally and have the local times derived from UTC, not from PC local time. When it‘s evening in Germany, it is afternoon in LA and should be daylight, when syncing to system time. My sim says it‘s 8 pm in Germany, let‘s sync that to ...

Re: Adjusting to time zone correction

All I can say is a Scenario is being loaded. But this little box is now causing quite a stir... I think what is raising the most eyebrows is where it is located inside the sim and not at the opening screen where you would normally select your aircraft and load your flight plan and other parameters o...

Re: Adjusting to time zone correction

Ahhh yes it is. When the scenario loads it loads into the sim at the time of day set by the sim. In my case Pacific time USA. Not good when the departure airport is PHNL,OMDG RJTT, YSSY,EGLL, EHAM and so on. I would have to manually adjust the time set in the sim to the local time departure location...

Re: Adjusting to time zone correction

Vaughn, I'm working on something else where having that box sitting checked buried that deep in the sim is a major pain in the butt. It causes a scenario created outside the sim to load at the wrong time of day. It also means the user has to jump through more hoops where the process need to be simpl...

Re: Adjusting to time zone correction

Why did LM bury this so deep inside the sim. It's like the logbook nobody knows exists.
