Re: PDK GetScreenCoord() trouble

The pbh value is being converted incorrectly. This function can still be used with the PBH and XYZ set to zero, and it should give you a valid screen coordinate for a given LLA. I suspect this is how must developers have been using it since this bug has been around since v2. The good news is, there ...

Re: NVIDIA 376.33 still cause FX to flicker when in SLI performance mode

All the known SLI issues are specific to Alternate Frame Rendering (AFR). If SLI is on, but AFR is not being used, you will likely not encounter the issues.

Re: NVIDIA 376.33 still cause FX to flicker when in SLI performance mode

Just recently updated to V 3.4.18.19475 and am on 375.70 drivers. Two EVGA 980 GTX in SLI. All working perfectly. I think you may have inadvertently disabled SLI, or you are running an older version of Prepar3D. The performance hit and UI flicker introduced in HF2 will require a client-side change ...

Re: Anyone seen this anomoly?

The entire globe is loaded at a fixed (relatively low) level of detail. These textures are pre-created and behave similar to add-on scenery based on imagery. For tiles within a certain radius of the camera, the terrain system generates a new textures at run-time using vector data for roads and shore...

As Adam posted an update on another thread, we are working with NVidia to address potential issues in both the driver and client application. Can someone please confirm the last Nvidia driver that did not have flickering effects in SLI?

Re: Seasonal textures not applied correctly

Thanks for reporting this. We will look into it. We've fixed issues in the past where time and weather changes in the UI didn't properly trigger a full reload. I think there are time and distance checks in the scenario loading routine intended to speed up reloads by skipping unneeded work. Those rou...

Re: View Groups Tutorial for P3D v3.3

If you have a simple 3x1 grid of monitors in a standard cylindrical wrap-around layout, you can use any of the three xml group definitions I posted, and they should work fine without requiring and 3rd party software. If you're monitors are the same size and resolution, I suggest you go with the firs...

Re: P3D "AppHang" when using other applications

We did a quick run on a machine with GeForce experience running, and could not reproduce the issue. Perhaps in an interactions between that and other hardware or software specific to your use case. Have you tried this with the latest hotfix to see if it behaves any differently. If this was hanging t...
