The frustum offset used for view groups and VR is independent of the 6DOF offset so in theory it should work, though I don't think we specifically tested SimConnect based camera changes with view groups. I don't believe that function supports getting VC getting VC part information. You can get some information via mouse or custom pick requests. We run Prepar3D on 4 and 6 projector setups in our demo center. We haven't seen this issue in our testing. Can you provide more details on your hardware and software setup?

You might be hitting the aircraft itself. I believe you can pass in an object id to exclude it.
