Based on the long, long list of issues being highlighted with Version 5, did the developers release it for download too soon, maybe before the developers properly debugged it? Think I'll stick with 4.5 for now!

I have recently installed v4 on a new computer, with no issues. I then cleanly installed AS16, but the software is not recognized by the sim. Is there another step or interface needed? Thanks for your feedback.

OK, so I tried the install again, but my computer once again flagged a “Trojan.exe” virus, so something is amiss with that software! Can’t risk that kind of destructive issue on my computer.

When I start the sim, I am met with the following messages (see below). I click through them, since I don't have a clue what they mean or how to resolve, and am able to launch the sim and carry on with flight, uninterrupted. Will appreciate any assistance with this annoyance. Thanks!

Hi, I am currently downloading the Prepar3D_v4 software. A second download, called Software Development Kit, popped up as well. Am I supposed to use that or just ignore it? Is it a required or necessary part of the primary sim download?
