Re: AMD or Intel

A little bit late to reply but I if you haven't built the system yet, you might be in some luck cuz the new Ryzen 3000 series looks promising. just have a look over youtube for 2019 Computex and AMD.... The AMD hype train is cyclical. And Major teething problems with a new design launch can reasona...

Re: New Computer Suitability For P3D v4.4 64-Bit

with that CPU ( capped or not, no matter ) and GTX 1070 I think that PSU is terribly a bad idea to put on a system like that! I have a laptop with an external GPU ( GTX 1070ti from ASUS - 1x 8 pin power supply required ) which I had to buy a PSU to supply this good boy, first I bought a VS450 from c...

Re: GPU Usage on Pause/Un-pause

I am seriously going to follow this post, interesting because Exact same thing happened to me specially with 4.5 except it was CPU which after pausing ramped up to 100% and boosted a major FPS increase but after un-pausing the core usage dropped to 20-30% max and FPS dropped to slideshow ! currently...

Re: Frame issues in Prepar3D v4.5

Srce, Please do NOT post your entire Prepar3d.cfg as a text listing in these forums ... offer a link to the file if you feel it's required. Thorsten, What is "polyline autogen buildings"? Did you mean Polygons? Others with FPS problems, My suggestion for those with performance issues is to: 1. Back...

Re: Frame issues in Prepar3D v4.5

Hello all, Can you post your system specs? Have you tested this without any addons installed? Can you provided a specific location to test, as well as your settings? If using multiple monitors, how are you maximizing Prepar3D across your monitors? (View groups, stretching the window and alt + enter...

Re: 40-25 to 35 21 Stutters are back!

No issues for several years. Now, I go from 40-25 fps , 35 to 21 fps. the stutters or horrible. Do any of the P3D devs know why? No changes to sim other than the normal upgrade scenario. Client, Content, and Scenery all updated. This is also with default LM aircraft. Totally same story here, From r...
