Re: adding plane textures in P3D4

If this is under Windows 10, and your P3D is installed in either the C:\Program Files or the C:\Program Files (x86), then it could be UAC that prevents you from doing what you want to do.

Re: Trouble installing version 4.5

Before you begin your uninstall, open File Explorer and go to your C: drive. In the Search field in the top right-hand corner, type "Lockheed Martin". Now, note down where the folders with that name are located, so you can delete them manually if the uninstall doesn't do that. Also grab Ccleaner (th...

Re: Monitor upgrade

Snowfalcon, I just googled the Ryzen 2700X. If it is running at 3.7 GHz, then you have the cause of your stutters right there. You need to get yourself up on the hot side of 4.5 GHz, that's it. As Dan said, what is needed in P3D is CPU horsepower first and foremost, as measured by the clock rate. Th...

Re: Trouble installing version 4.5

Jerry, I am sorry to say this, but a clean install MAY be what you need to do, given what I see here. It may also be the easiest way to start with a clean slate. But you need to, after you uninstall everything, and before you attempt to do the reinstall, to clean up the computer for any remaining tr...

Re: No more trees for the second time

Blqck_Cobra, From your description, I am assuming that this is what has happened: 1. P3D v. 4.5 was working OK. 2. The trees were missing, the vegetation files were set to .off. You fixed that. 3. P3D was working OK again. 4. The trees are missing again. If this is correct, then what happened on you...

Re: Sudden Screen Tearing after Last Windows Update

Since the file in question is a Windows System file (an Application Extension, to be exact), I seriously doubt that a P3D client reinstall will fix this issue. The first thing I personally would try is rerunning Windows Update. If that does not fix the issue, then go with the methods outlined in the...

Re: Prepare 3D v2 crashes

Nice to see another Dane around here!

For starters, try to google "ntdll.dll error" or a similar string. Be aware that there are a lot of various possible reasons for this error, so finding the correct solution might take some time.

Re: Sudden Screen Tearing after Last Windows Update

By googling this error, I found multiple answers, here's one: "D3D10Warp.dll errors could indicate a registry problem, dll file corruption and in lesser cases, a malware issue – which can be solved by scanning with an anti-malware application. D3D10Warp.dll is also known as the Direct3D 10 Rasterize...

Re: Massive Trench - New England USA

Scott,

The FreeMeshX you mention from Nine Two Productions is the one I am using.

You might want to try it, the price is right and you can always uninstall it again if it doesn't do what you want it to do.

Re: SECOND CRY FOR HELP: Can’t access airports or airspace in vast area!

Let me first list the add-ons I have for the western US: FreeMesh, Blue Sky photoscenery and Drzewiecki Design's Seattle City and Airports. With these add-ons, I have been able to fly into and out of all the airports you mentioned, before and after August 6, the ones that you mentioned that you "can...
