I actually solved this issue by tweaking my Nvidia Control Panel P3D settings. Now it’s as smooth as butter. There is a Flight1 forum that lists some general rules for tweaking Nvidia to optimize your P3D and it actually worked! I have much smoother frames now.

At altitude, I noticed I can see the “blocks” where the detailed scenery ends and the blurry scenery beyond that begins. Is this normal? I have my detail radius set to very high in the sim. I can’t post a picture here but I do have one if you guys want if so you can see exactly what I mean...

I just installed 4.2 fresh after deleting 4.1. Afterwards I am getting very blurry textures still even after using the sim at least 10+ times already. Also whenever I am flying and I pan around on the outside, the cloud textures disappear and reapear as the camera moves.

So last update: I have uninstalled P3D completely and reinstalled (also upgrading to 4.2 in the process). I also uninstalled all of my scenery add-ons to narrow down the process. My sim bare bones with no third party scenery or aircraft is having the same stuttering issues. So I’m super puzzled now....
