Re: Blue Screen after RTX 2080 Update

When you update your video drivers with Nvidia Experience do you choose custom install and check the clean install box? this might help. Don't install any components which you don't use or don't need. Sometimes old components left on the drive may cause problems to appear. You don't want any left ov...

Re: 3 monitors, very low FPS

I find that using the Nvidia Experience FPS counter I can actually get rates as high as 840 with FSX, but only in the first lesson in the learning center. Generally the FPS shown is higher. E.G.120/140 when flying Concorde. Have you updated your video drivers recently with Nvidia Experience, or afte...

How to Change The Info/Coordinates/FPS Colors.

See Coordinates/FPS Displayed in Bright Green which is much easier to read. Logic: Red usually signifies DANGER whereas green is more suitable for INFORMATION. Matching:The shade of green is the same as the Nvidia Experience FPS read out. *************************************************************...

Re: Removing All Prepar3D Regisrty Entries on Old Win 7 PC

Hello Elaine, Your other customers might find this to be helpful. I found a very useful program - Registry Finder 2.31 - and installed it on the rejuvenated Windows 7 machine. I just had to go to the correct location: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-18\Compone...

Re: Removing All Prepar3D Regisrty Entries on Old Win 7 PC

The OEM recovery drive collapsed years ago so there is no way of re-installing Windows 7 in the traditional manner. I use drive images to restore with but I didn't know about these left-over registry entries and that my uninstalling P3D would not remove them cleanly. Clean uninstallation being a key...

Setting Up Thrustmaster T16000 FCS and TWCS Throttle HOTAS

To Poppet, [This HOTAS combination came out in 2017] Are there any scripts available to automate this process? None are available from Thrustmaster. I prefer to use my heavily modified .cfg file prepared using FSX Acceleration. E.G. The NUM pad is no longer reserved for use with a mouse but used for...

Re: One New Installation Error

Thanks Poppet, That was quick. I saw the message at the end of the installation but not since, so it has only appeared the once. I shall take your advice and click on ignore if it appears again. My test flight was from La Guardia to Orlando and went well. Where do I install the SDK .msi package? Int...

One New Installation Error

Completed very easy installation, thanks to Poppy and her instructions, and decided to activate Prepar3D v4.2 Pro However I received just the one error message: "Could not write value Complete to key: \Products\192A359C5DOCE414281177D8E5357DA3\Features What should I do to investigate and correc...

Re: Thrustmaster Joystick Rudder Problem

Forget that. My mistake.

The T16000 FCS Joystick does indeed use the RZ axis when using the Thrustmaster calibration.

However in the FSX settings, using the calibration, it refers to the Z axis.

Sorry, but I don't see another Rudder underneath.
