Somehow SODE for P3D v5 was "unregistered". I have no idea how or why it happened but it seemed to fix my issue.
Posting this just in case someone else has the same issue that can be fixed easily.

Missing Jetways - Addons
Hello, Everything was working great. All of my addon airports had jetways and then today for some unknown reason (to me) they no longer appear. The issue seems to be with addon airports: default airporsts work fine with GSX. And as far as I can tell it's all the addon airports regardless of the deve...

Re: Hardware Calibration - Windows?
I am using the Honeycomb Alpha yoke with Saitek rudder pedals and throttle. I was looking for a way to calibrate the hardware inside of P3D like version 4.X. I was also hoping there might be a setting or option to chose which calibration method to use.

HDR Selection - INOP
I just purchased and installed v5.2 and I have noticed several improvements over 4.5 and getting to know the finer points of this version. However, the HDR Lighting checkbox is grayed out: Why? I've noticed some of the digital displays on my PMDG product is a bit blurry and I was going to turn off H...

Re: Hardware Calibration - Windows?
Thank you for responding.
In v4 the calibration for hardware was contained within P3D. Now it goes to the Windows controller for calibration instead of P3D which I certainly do not want.
Is the Windows calibration tool the only option?

Hardware Calibration - Windows?
I just recently installed P3D v5.2 and the calibration appears to be totally different from v4 unless I'm missing something. In v5 when I click on the button to calibrate my device it takes me to the Windows calibration tool. I don't want to use it for two reasons: 1. I don't want it to affect my P3...

Re: Upgrading 4.5 to 5.2 (Best Option?)
Thank you both very much for your response. I'm not sure how Active Sky will work meaning it is currently connected with P3D v4. Can it be setup to work with either? Sorry for being such a pain with this. I have a 1TB M.2 SSD and there's enough space to install P3D v5 but if I were to include all of...

Upgrading 4.5 to 5.2 (Best Option?)
Hello, I am wanting to upgrade (purchase) to P3D v5.2 and would like to know the best way to do so? I literally have over a hundred airport addons and multiple utility programs I am currently using with v4.5 HF3 and would like to install v5.2 on a separate drive. I just don't know how it will work i...

Re: Windows Explorer Opens on P3D v4.5 Launch
Yes, it would have fixed it but only after removing who knows how many addons. It could have been the first addon removed or the last one and any number in between. I simply just wanted others to know about the addon.xml file so it might possibly save them some time and aggravation. At the end of th...

Re: Windows Explorer Opens on P3D v4.5 Launch
Understood and your suggestion is noted, but in all fairness the part that mentions it will remove all addons to me means all addons. If I only had five or ten then OK but as I mentioned I didn’t want to remove ALL all of them. That would have been a last resort. I read another post that mentioned r...

Re: Windows Explorer Opens on P3D v4.5 Launch
@ vafpilot , Will Thomas Glad to hear you found your problem after reviewing the General Debugging Steps as I originally suggested. Quite honestly I didn’t use the debugging steps: I only glanced at them but I don’t recall seeing anything about the “add-on.xml” file unless the files you delete in t...

Re: Windows Explorer Opens on P3D v4.5 Launch
I found it !! I appreciate the suggestions offered by other users of P3D, but in my case it was something slightly different. It had nothing to do with the "Addon" folder in the documents which I had suspected due to the fact the issue did not start immediately after installing the latest ...

Re: Windows Explorer Opens on P3D v4.5 Launch
Well, I've read through the 'general debugging' steps and there's mention one of the steps removes all of the addons and then insturcts you to start reinstalling them one by one. I've done something similar by removing the latest addon before the behaviour began. And that's the strange part: this st...
