v4.5 Hotfix 1

Hello,

Is there anyway to download the Hotfix 1? I mistakenly deleted it from my PC and I can't find it on the Prepar3D website. I know Hotfix 2 is current, but I'd like to install HF 1.

I was hoping there was an archive somewhere to allow customers to retrieve previous versions.

Re: Where to Download Hotfix 1

Hope you’re not offended either. I was just hoping for an official answer from LM. Since they’ve released two hotfixes I thought a new update would be available by now. In the future I won’t delete any updates I download. However, there are some companies/developers who maintain a download archive w...

Re: Where to Download Hotfix 1

Thanks, but I'm hoping someone from LM will have a way to make it available. I did have it but deleted and now I can't get it back which is why I am hoping there is a link they can provide.

Where to Download Hotfix 1

Hello, I know the latest hotfix is #2, but I'm looking for #1. Why? 1. I don't want to install #2 because I want to make sure it's compatible with some other addons. In the past it has taken awhile for devs to catch up and in the meantime I can't use certain addons. 2. It seems #2 is geared toward V...

Re: Night Time too Dark - Post REX

Amazing to me how some people can’t comprehend when they read. The problem is the moon phase as suggested by someone else and I did post it was the issue/solution. The thread was started because of a legitimate issue but some of you made it personal because it was a different opinion from your own. ...

Re: Night Time too Dark - Post REX

Well, PMDG for one (and I am sure there are a few others). Purchasing, installing, and support are done best by PMDG bar none. In the past there have been some addons which caused some issues and I worked closely with their support staff to figure it out. I’ve been doing this for a long time and hav...

Re: Night Time too Dark - Post REX

I’ve done all of those things. Turning off HDR doesn’t make a difference. Deleting/creating a new .cfg file doesn’t work either. Additionally, I already mentioned the lack of support in the REX forums. Thanks for the response but all of that has already been mentioned in the previous responses. As w...

I’m happy for you. I’m not sure how that helps those of us with this issue.

Re: Night Time too Dark - Post REX

No problem. I purchased the bundle (SkyForce and Essentials) but it was a waste of $50. I’m not a big fan of REX products but thought I’d give it a chance. Won’t happen again.

Re: Night Time too Dark - Post REX

I have thought of the moon phase but have not reset the sim to a different phase (good point as it is new moon currently). I will try that this evening. REX Support - That has been a joke in my case. To get support, you’re required to join the forum, post your order id, and wait for someone to verif...

Night Time too Dark - Post REX

Hello, I recently installed REX SkyForce 3D in the hopes to gain a more realistic weather simulation. Never again! I uninstalled REX but since then the night time textures in P3D v4.5 are way too dark. I mean they are literally pitch black. My sim is set to start with real local time which at night ...

Re: Upgrade to 4.5.12 or wait?

I just intalled the hotfix even though I had no reason to do so, however, I wanted to make sure I'm using the latest version. After installing the hotfix I wish I hadn't and will be going back to 4.5.11. Reason? The exterior lighting has been dimmed way too much for me. The previous version worked f...

Re: App Crash v. 4.2.21.24048

I’m not sure if English is your native language so I’ll try to explain this again. app.dll - read the initial post and you’ll see the event log I posted (happens every time on shut down). Another user posted the same issue beginning with version 4.1 which tells me someone else is having the same iss...

Re: App Crash v. 4.2.21.24048

See mikie46’s post above. I am referring to appcrash dll. The terrain dll is a new problem that is causing the sim to crash. I’m going to fly the same flight and aircraft but not use/activate add ons one by one to see if that causes the issue. If that doesn’t work then I will change aircraft and rep...
