Re: P3Dv5.3 + Intel 12900K ?
I typically exclude all folders for p3d and addons. Especially in the appdata folders. Chaseplane specifically makes you exclude its exe but i exclude the folder too. Given p3d and most of my addons are on a separate drive exclusively, i just exclude the entire drive as a folder.

Re: P3Dv5.3 + Intel 12900K ?
Make sure you are excluding the right files and folders from Windows Defender. That is the #1 source of stutters every few seconds. With it being a new PC build, you may have forgotten to do that. I just got my new rig setup with the 12900K and i had the stutters too but quickly realized I had not h...

Re: Loading 'saved' flights (not working)
What do you mean by RTSS? I am not using any third-party software to limit framerate (if that's your question). Also, am not using a VR set. RivaTuner Statistics Server. If you don't know what it is, you likely do not have it. But if you use MSI Afterburner to control your graphics card, you may ha...

Re: Loading 'saved' flights (not working)
I found the solution in the FSLabs forum and I replied to my own question there with the found solution for anyone else looking.

Re: Loading 'saved' flights (not working)
Are you using RTSS? If so, make sure you do not use scanline sync to limit framerate. This causes what you are describing when loading scenarios in P3D. For me it happened with FSLabs aircraft, but could happen with others i'd assume.

Re: VR CTD
I used to get a lot of the same errors with FSLABS. Not necessarily with VR but sometimes while in VR. Now i keep getting BSODs which I think is truly a cooling problem in my rig. FSLABS is very demanding on the system, especially combined with high P3D settings and VR. Do you happen to use RTSS? Us...

Re: Selecting saved scenario jumps straight into loading into background
Here is the solution:
Don't use the "scanline sync" option of RivaTuner's frame rate limiter, just use the "Framerate Limit" option.

Re: Selecting saved scenario jumps straight into loading into background
I will obviously do that. However maybe someone brilliant here will offer an idea that actually helps me.

Re: Selecting saved scenario jumps straight into loading into background
On further testing, it is only happening with scenarios that use the FSLabs Airbus. Maybe because it loads a lot of the FSLabs components prior and then is somehow triggering the full launch of the scenario?

Selecting saved scenario jumps straight into loading into background
Hi, I am having a problem when trying to load a saved scenario. If I select it, it goes straight into loading the scenario instead of updating the initial screen with details of the scenario where I can make edits before launching it. When it finishes loading the scenario, it just runs in the backgr...

Re: Shader variables and VR Single Pass rendering
That's one we already fixed in our dev build. line 601 in terrain.fx: float3 shadowPositionWS = Input.vPosWS; The fix: float3 shadowPositionWS = Input.vPosWS - cb_View.mViewInstanceOffset; Beau, thanks so much for these. We are very happy to make these modifications ourselves while we wait for the ...

Re: Shader variables and VR Single Pass rendering
Hot Damn that worked!!! Thanks Beau!
So we know now that like every DD scenery is using fs9 models... LOL!
Any quick shader modifications we can manually make ourselves to fix the lighting issues in the right eye?

Re: Shader variables and VR Single Pass rendering
Thanks Beau. I will pass this info onto the the TOGA team. Could issues similar to this be causing the floating scenery effect and the mismatched lighting in the eyes? Well I guess you guys have fixed the latter already correct? How goes it with the VR Singlepass fixes? Anxiously awaiting the next h...
