Re: v4.1: autogen still loading late and in patches
As the issue persists, I realized something that might be interesting: normally, those autogen issues appear at least on my end only close to the destination of a flight. Not if I fire up P3Dv4.2. But today, I was testing some stuff resulting in several "new scenario" via the P3D menue an...

Re: v4.1: autogen still loading late and in patches
I confirm it 3770K @4.5GHz, GTX 1060-6, SSD I'm generally surprised by the principle of caching. Why on the external camera I can look at the object, then turn away, and when I look again - the textures start to load again. What for?? This above for me too, even with twin 1080ti in SLI mode. I wish...

Re: p3d v4 performance
I have a very similar (almost identical) system to yours and I have had to make quite a few sacrifices to obtain smooth frame rates. I am getting around 30 - 60 depending on environment by turning off SpeedTrees, lowering mesh and texture settings to 7cm and 5cm, disabling some reflections (particul...

Re: v3.4.18 SLI major issue
I have now resolved the issue of lousy SLI performance. First my basic specs for reference: Windows 10 64 bit Haswell 5820 6 cores over-clocked to 4.3 mhz 32 GB Crucial 2600 RAM Dell P2715Q monitor Asus X99a MoBo 2 x EVGA Nvidia 980Ti in SLI mode Standard joystick Prepar3D Addons Chaseplane All 3 OR...

Re: v3.4.18 SLI major issue
Anyway - did clean install of Nvidia latest drivers - no difference.
Looks like it will have to be a clean P3D install after all.
Bummer, not what I wanted - or expected Lockheed Martin.

Re: v3.4.18 SLI major issue
Yes. A 'Client' only update to v3.4.22.19868 with a non-clean install of Nvidia drivers 378.49 and all is well again in SLI mode. Sigh...Looks like you are lucky! Didn't work for me. Am girding my loins for a full re-install but might wait first for Nvidia update to newer drivers on the offchance...

Re: v3.4.18 SLI major issue
Just confirming a clean reinstall of P3D to latest release has fixed the issue. I am still running an Nvidia driver 376.33. I am no wiser! It seems that others that have reverted back to an earlier driver have "cured" their problems! The whole point of the new Hotfix is, of course, to fix...

Re: v3.4.18 SLI major issue
So...upgraded Client only with the recommended Nvidia drivers and the awful flickering has gone. However framerate is only 28-30 fps. That's with twin 980ti cards and sli enabled. With one card and sli disabled I get an easy 60-70fps. Summat is still not right! I don't really want to revert to earli...
