I figured it out, I have an analogue hat witch that pans the view on my yoke, if I accidentally touch it it make the camera offset for only the left eye.
This appears to be a bug. I guess I can just remove that mapping for the moment but I still like to use it when I'm not in VR mode ...

IF you run unlimited framerate this happens. Unlimited give more priority to framerate vs texture loading. I believe the reason this is done is for training platforms. When we're training someone, we usually prefer the time of day to remain constant when we move the aircraft to another location.
