Re: Anti-Aliasing is much worse in v5.3... This is ridiculous.
Hi Adam, No way to have things better. I have a 3080 ti with a 1440p 32" monitor, I use 2048 textures and any AA I choose, I get ugly custom runway/taxiway lights flickering in the distance at night and in general shimmering of thin lines, mainly of custom sceneries. It's a scandal that there ...

Re: Lack of ozone contribution in EA sky
Thank you. Unfortunately I had to roll back to HF1 because with HF2 + Envshade + Active Sky 8054 + your 3 modified shader files I have a ugly gray band at night on the horizon, that does not occur with HF1 + Envshade + AS 8027 + your 3 files. I think the issue may be caused by AS 8054, but, in order...

Please LM, Still objects shining through haze and low clouds!
Dear LM, Yesterday I downloaded the latest P3D v5.3 hotfix 2 and I see that there are still a couple of issues that need being fixed. The issues are summarized in the below screenshots: 1. Custom objects shining through haze 2. Custom objects visible through low clouds. The first one occurs only wit...

Re: P3D 5.3 HF2: stutters at ESGP
I still get stutters at EFHK, they go away only if I use autogen distance at medium. No difference with HF1 or 5.2...

Re: P3D v5.3 HF2 | No haze/atmo (again)
In AS v8054 I don't see the option of adjusting upper maximum visibility, looks like it has been removed once again.

Re: Lack of ozone contribution in EA sky
Hi, A new version of the Enhanced Atmospherics sky and cloud ozone tweak is finally ready. Be noted that the mod is only compatible with Prepar3D v5.3 HF1 + Update. Changelog: - Added separate controls for sky & cloud brightness, saturation and ozone levels during day, twilight and night - thes...

Re: Lack of ozone contribution in EA sky
Thanks, Marcus. Unfortunately, I am not confident that the issue is not related to P3D. Did you try adding an overcast cloud layer (stratus) say from 200 ft to 3000 ft and then to slew above it in custom airports (please, try more than one)? Please do that and tell me, before I do all that work usel...

Hi Marcus,
Yes, I have Envshade, but these objects show in vanilla P3D and with any shaders, it's an issue carried over since FSX times...

Re: Lack of ozone contribution in EA sky
So HF2 does not even solve the issue of the objects visible through the clouds? That's quite a big issue, that fortunately is visible only in few circumstances, when clouds are low...

Re: Lack of ozone contribution in EA sky
Hi Chris, Concerning trees, it's likely that they are made with SODE, so you need to go to Programdata->12pilot->SODE->Name of the airport->Simobjects and there should be a folder with the trees files. In this case the files are not bgl but mdl, therefore, when you open them with Model Converter X, ...

Re: Lack of ozone contribution in EA sky
Hi James. Are there any tutorials or tips from yourself about editing scenery using Model Converter X? I am still getting big problems, had hoped these new files would help but not the objects through clouds as shown in my recent post on this thread. Starting to wonder if I need to do the painful j...

Re: Lack of ozone contribution in EA sky
Hi, This is because fog is still not taking ozone contribution into account, I will update the mod soon to include fog too. Thanks a lot for the great work you are doing! Do you think you can also fix the issue of the objects visible through the clouds? It's strange that it's ok with the fog but no...

Re: Lack of ozone contribution in EA sky
Really a GENIUS!! You should be hired by LM as Main Programmer! I was about to modify many sceneries with Model Converter X in order not to have objects shining through the haze, but now everything is ok!!! Thank you very much!!! The only remaining problem are objects still visible through low cloud...
