Re: Cars on taxway an runway

I see you have ORBX Vector installed. You might want to play around with disabling their traffic on secondary roads using the Vector configuration tool. I also see cars on taxiways when I use ORBX Vector. I simply ignore them - or try to imagine that they are driving underground.

Re: Southern Hemisphere - wrong season

I don't own P3D v4, but it looks like the season for southern hemisphere was correct in the previous version v3. This information might help the developers.

A New Concorde for P3D v4 might be in Development

Hello, If you like to fly Concorde-X on P3D, the following statement by the FS-Labs team might be of interest to you: Hello all, As you are all well aware by now, our A320-X is available for Prepar3D V4, we’re working on the A320-X SP1 release for FSX and Prepar3D v3 and the rest of the A32X fleet i...

Re: Fuel / Aircraft Weight Error

I am afraid that since P3D v3.x is no longer being developed, the bug won't be fixed.

Re: v4.1: autogen still loading late and in patches

That is unfortunate. I am using v3, so I am not familiar with v4, but I know that limiting frames in v3 and making sure that the system can handle the maximum FPS results in a quicker scenery load at high speeds. I hope other users have some more tips.

Re: v4.1: autogen still loading late and in patches

Well, now you know where the loss in 7-10 FPS goes into. That's because if you limit your FPS internally, you activate the fiber frame time fraction "tweak", which has a default value of 0.3. If you use unlimited FPS, P3D uses a setting of 0.01. The higher the FFTF value, the more resourced does the...

Refer to the following thread from the FS-Labs forum, which has helped me getting rid of the stutters you mention.

Re: Recommended Install Location

Provided that the size of the SSD is large enough, why is it recommended to NOT install P3D on the same drive as the OS? Is it performance? I would agree that it is better to have the simulator installed on a separate drive if you were to use HDDs, but an SSD should be fast enough to handle both the...

Re: KB4038788 crashes my P3D v3

I think that it is not fair to lay the blame on LM for this debacle. Before the Windows update came out, the simulator was working fine on most systems. If installing the update causes P3D to crash or behave erratically, it is on Microsoft's part - after all, LM didn't update their simulator, and it...

Re: Buy as a gift?

When you buy a Prepar3D license, LM sends you a license ID and an activation password for that purchase. You could send that information to your friend, so that he would be able to activate the simulator after installation with you having paid for the license.

Re: Prepar3d V4 blurry terrain

Why do you use the BUFFERPOOLS tweak in your cfg? It might have been useful in FSX, but I don't know what it does in P3D.

Re: TrafficToolBox Question

I have a question about traffictoolbox.dll: Do I need to install the P3D SDK to use this module? I am asking because there is a TrafficToolbox.dll-file already present in the main Prepar3D-folder even if the SDK is not installed. Can I register this module in the dll.xml and run it, or do I need to ...

Re: Runway and taxi lights floating above the ground.

I have made a video, in which I present an add-on that replaces the floating default taxiway lights by a more realistic looking version. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pA0UKBsfBQo Here is some information beforehand: - The tool, called "Airport Wizard", was developed for FSX and FS2004, but it can ...
